Only fault is light soil to a few places on cover. Illustrated with black and white photographs and facsimile documents. Book's aim is to document the descendants of Captain Oliver Pond whose helmet, or as it was called, his cap, was passed down the generations until it found a lasting home. Biography of Pond included, as well as genealogical info, his military life, the Farrar heritage, and the cap itself. Measures 5-1/2"x8-1/2" and has 31 pages plus addendum sheet laid-in.
