Overall this is a nice, clean tightly bound booklet. I ran a document pad over it, so there is just a tiny hint of soil left. There is no date on it, but I think it may be from the 50's or 60's. at first glance I thought 60's, but look at the first page -- there is no postal code. Booklet measures 8x1/2"x11" and has 49 pages illustrated with black and white photographs, charts and graphs. Booklet bills itself as "a study of the machining performance of various free-cutting steels and the methods whereby their relative machinability may be evaluated."
