Colorful umbrellas and chairs dot the grass in front of the Vineyard's oldest and largest hotel, The Ocean View. The card has been sent and the postmark dates it in the summer of 1955. The card is clean with sharp corners. It was sent to Mrs. C.R. Stone of Ashland, Ohio from G.E. S. who wrote: "Dear Folks, Missed ferry over here due to train being late so didn't get here till about 9:30 p.m. Monday. This is where we are staying, took a tour of the island today. Interesting place and good eats, had lobster salad." Card will arrive in brand new plastic sleeve/
