Very handsome booklet with many large photographs throughout. It came from a travel service affiliated with the Higbee department store in Cleveland, Ohio as per stamp on the back cover. This is a second version of the original which was a brochure and published in 1922. This one measures 8" x 9" and has 38 pages. The photographs are beautiful in black and white with a wash of pink to many. The text invites the visitor to see the Grand Canyon from various spots. Especially nice was the comment from Theodore Roosevelt on page one, "The Grand Canyon of Arizona fills me with awe. It is beyond comparison -- beyond description -- absolutely unparalleled throughout the wide world. Let this wonder of nature remain as is now is . " Booklet is clean with a just three very small tears to cover edges which I repaired on reverse side with small pieces of archival tape.
