This booklet is small, but mighty. It measures 4-1/2" x 7" with 116 dense pages. There is a lot of history here as well as names which would be helpful for the genealogist. The booklet appeared originally in 1879 at which time Dover was known as Canal Dover. I was talking to a customer on the phone the other day who told me about how it used to be Canal Dover. And then I found this in a box in the closet and there it was -- Canal Dover. The booklet is pristine -- no names or writing and VERY clean cover and pages. I doubt it's been read. P.S. That one sold and now I have a third one, so these are new pictures. [ OHIO BX 2 ]
