Inscribed by the author in Italian on the blank page opposite the copyright page. No other marks or writing in book. Text is fully in Italian. Arturo Dazzi (1881 1966) was an Italian painter and sculptor born in Carrara. He was recognized for his monumental sculptures. Active from 1901, Dazzi showed at the Venice Biennale in 1932 and the 2nd Rome Quadriennale in 1935. His sculptures were included in the universal exhibitions in Paris in 1937 and in New York in 1939, where his monument to Guglielmo Marconi was well-received.
