Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to yellow cloth boards with red titles - corners sharp. Minor shelf/edge wear, a few closed tears, one small chip and dust soiling to original DJ - now in mylar. Previous owner name on FFEP - all pages are clean, unmarked and on good paper. Glossy frontispiece. This copy has all the points for Format 1 per AAC/Axe pgs 108,109. This is number 15 in a series of 18 by the publisher Cupples & Leon. The Kay Tracey Mysteries were published under the name Frances K. Judd, a house pseudonym of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, a book packager. The series was conceived as a response to the popularity of the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories and likewise features a teenage girl detective. A very handsome vintage First Edition with DJ. LOC SSS-08
