Vintage Hardcover, Second Edition (Fifth Thousand) 1923 Modern Medicine Publishing Co Battle Creek, Mich 171 pages. Good+, no DJ. Moderate shelf/edge wear and rubbing to dark green cloth covers with gilt titles - corners bumped with wear to all edges. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. No toning. Several B&W illustrations and a few in color. Author's book on the evils of tobacco use and it's harm to the body. John Harvey Kellogg (February 26, 1852 December 14, 1943) was an American businessman, inventor, and physician who was an advocate of theological modernism and the Progressive Movement.
