Hardcover with dustjacket. 1930 First edition. Copy is from a lending library. Dustjacket flaps are glued to the inner boards. Corners of boards are lightly bumped. The top edge of the front board and part of the top edge of the spine (Approx. 2-1/2" long by 1/8" deep) are nibbled away. Part of the top page edges are a bit abraded. Page edges are also freckled, age-darkened. The front fly leaf has been removed but the binding is still solid. Front pastedown has a library circulation number stamp and the rear pastdown has a library stamp but no pocket. No library markings on the DJ. DJ has light edgewear (adjacent to damaged portion of top of binding - 1/8" deep). A closed 1" tear along the DJspine. Light rubbing to the front panel and the rear panel is soiled. Front panel has striking purple DJ artwork. I believe with patience and proper technique the DJ inner panels could be detached from the pastedowns. A hard-to-find title in DJ, with some flaws. ; 22D; 7-1/2 x 5-1/4"; 312 pages
