Map of Illinois (1855) [Bound pocket map]

Hardcover; bound folding map. Bound in brown cloth. The binding is 5" x 3-1/4". The unfolded map size is 16-1/2" x 13-1/2". The cloth is rubbed, with some soil. The gilt lettering on the front board is faded/tarnished. There is the remains of a Morse and Gaston catalogue pasted on the inner front board, but it is very worn & mostly unreadable. The map has a few creases; some age-toning, and a few very small foxed spots; and a couple very short tears at the fold corners. Else the hand-colored map is fairly clean. ; 26C
