Endpapers, frontis, illustrated half-title, and illustrations heavily foxed. Some foxing, smudging to other pages. There is a 1-1/4 x 3/4" hole in page 33/34 (affecting text). On the front pastedown, there is a bookplate of "John Reid & Son's Circulating Library". No other library markings present. Title written in pencil on the front pastedown.
