String-tied wraps. A collection of seven poems. There is no date or publisher listed, but we suspect it was published by the author's mother shortly after his premature death in 1908. "Selected by Julia Claflin Upton" is printed on the 2nd page. Laid-in is a small card calling card of his mother (Julia Claflin Upton), that is inscribed "with love to my friend, Mrs, Howes". The covers are lightly age-toned, and with a bit of freckling. The corners are a bit bumped. The pages are just a bit age-toned, but clean. This was almost assuredly from a small print run. ; 28D; 7-1/8" x 5-3/8"
