LANSKOY (Andr) - LECUIRE (Pierre). Cortge, published by Pierre Lecuire in Paris in 1959, is an artistic collaboration between Andr Lanskoy and Pierre Lecuire.
First edition, limited to 150 copies printed on Arche Vellum, of which this copy is n 41signed by both Andr Lanskoy and Pierre Lecuire.
The book features 23 pochoirs (stencil prints) along with the covers, all created by Andr Lanskoy. These pochoirs were executed by Maurice Beaufume, following Lanskoy's original collaged papers and under the artist's guidance.
The book is bounded in an artistic binder, signed by Devauchelle, after a collages compositions by Lanskoy, in half black long-grained morocco with bands. All the collages within the book are Lanskoy's original compositions and add a unique visual dimension to the work capturing the essence of creativity and expression.
