Very nice original first edition Clean and tightly bound with dark green boards printed in gilt. Book is cleana nd tightly bound with just a small bit of wear to top of spine and a few small white marks on back. Former owner's name and the date 1903 written is on front free endpaper (see photo) . Book contains two large fold-out maps, one of which shows two short tears repaired by me on reverse side with archival tape. illustrated with full page photographs Much history and information on early operations. Cedar Hill is the final resting place of such lumninaries as Samuel Colt, poet Wallace Stevens, and actress Katherine Hepburn. It was designed by landscape architect Jacob Weidenmann who also designed Hartford's Bushnell Park and is noted for its lovely plantings, man-made lake, and artistic grave stones. 56 pages including a list of lot owners at time of writing.
