Mild toning to cover edge nearest spine, but otherwise a clean, tightly bound book which may be the work of the actor/writer with the same name. He was born in Cleveland in 1937 and the book was purchased in Cleveland from a small edition. If this is the actor -- and I do think it is -- he was 24 years old at the time. His first acting credit came in the late 60's and by 1970 he was on his way. The book was inexpensively published with a plastic comb binding measuring 6"x7-3/4" with 62 pages. The poetry is not bad at all given his youth and the book is SIGNED by author thus: "The greatest thing anyone can do for a writer is to buy his work and read it. Thank you -- I hope you enjoy it. Lloyd Battista." The original owner's name is written across from it on the reverse side of the cover and is dated 1961.
