The chunky Little Big books were the fad back in the 30's. They were cheaply made and cheap to buy, so it's amazing you can still find them in good condition. Here's one that beat the odds with all 396 pages intact and binding not cracked or broken. The only fault is toning to the cheap acidic paper. Illustrations are plentiful -- drawings by Henry Muheim. Book is designed with paper over boards. Minor wear to edges and small crease to corners. The boy who once owned it penciled his name and street at back of book. Book measures 3-1/2" x 4-1/2".
