Folio, publisher's 1/4 cloth over pictorial boards, a few insignificant scratches to edges; with 12 pin-up Vargas 1946 calendar prints for each month with glossy front finish, laid in pocket, bright with little evidence of handling. Publisher's green 1/4 cloth over pictorial boards, The inside of portfolio has a calendar for each month of 1946. Laid in in a cloth pocket are 12 leaves of colored plates, each measuring 9-5/8" x 12-13/16" The leaves are one for each month of the year, printed with a full color illustration by Vargas, with pin-up girls dressed in seasonal attire, along with the year and the month and a four line verse like "February: The month of February / is the briefest of the year, / So please forgive my costume -- / It's just a symbol, dear!" The plates are bright and clean with little evidence of handling. The cover has shelfwear and minor damage, pleas see photos.The condition of the portfolio is VERY GOOD.
