VG+ to NF. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 64 pages; Henderson was a regional African-American poet, who authored at least 10 volumes of verse, much in dialect, in the early 1900s. His books were self- published in Springfield, Ohio, and are now rather scarce. This is his second book. Selections includes "In Memoriam, To the Late Paul L. Dunbar," "De Banjo an' De Fiddle," "Sad Am de Night," "Chicken Koop an' Possum Chase" and the long title poem. Blockson 6406.
