The text is accompanied by numerous full-page black & white illustrations. Includes an introduction by J. C. Volume VII in publisher's series "The Works of Sir Walter Scott, Bart., Tales of my Landlord. - Second Series". --- In soft flexible navy leather covers. With gilt-stamped spine titling & decorations; top edge gilt. Lacks a dust jacket. --- Though the appearance of the leather is very poor due to sunning and dampstains, the leather has retained its supple feel.
