Stated first edition of a biography of Fred A. Rosenstock (1895-1986), a Denver-based antiquarian bookseller, collector, and dealer in books and fine art. The author traces Mr. Rosenstock's life, from birth in present-day Ukraine to his lengthy career as a bookseller in Denver. Much of the text was taken from interviews with the subject. Includes several black & white photos, and a color frontis photographic portrait of Mr. Rosentock. With a foreword by Frank Waters and a preface by the author. --- In blue cloth-covered boards with spine titling in silver foil; blue endpapers. Unclipped jacket repeats the frontis portrait on front panel. --- With a small exchange of paper between the jacket front flap and the front free endpaper, otherwise a very good copy: tightly-bound, unmarked and sturdy. Bright jacket lacks damages worthy of mention; protected in clear removable mylar wrapper.; Tall Octavo (9 to 10 in. tall); xvii, 212 pages
