The stories were originally accompanied by four color plates bearing illustrations presumably by H. Boylston Dummer, but only one has survived. --- In dark red ribbed cloth, with color illustration of a king and a boy pasted to front panel. Cover titling stamped in gilt, volume lacks a dust jacket. --- A Good-only copy with a hole to cloth at spine, prior owner's signature to front flyleaf, splatters of white paint to front cover and with somewhat shaken binding, else intact.; Small Octavo - 7-1/2 to 8 in. tall; (10), 154 pages
